Teacher!!!

I hear this word around 200 times a day from my students. Most of the times when I hear this word, I go back to my heart and ask myself "Am I a real teacher?". We all know the common criteria for being a teacher such as content knowledge and good classroom management techniques. However, when the word " Teacher Shaikha" echoes in my ear, I realize that my small students are asking for my power to save me. Have you ever thought why students sometimes get mixed up and call you "MOM?". Children see us as the replacement for their mothers sometimes. The ones you teach give you this responsibility of delivering, managing, and accommodating their emotional states. I get really surprised when I see teachers responding in a rude way to a student's call. As a teacher, I keep asking myself for ways to improve and asses my students' needs as much as possible. " Teacher !!!" isn't just a nickname, it is a quest that you have to rush to fulfill it.

    I believe that you are a real and good teacher shaikhakh, and I believe that you deal with your students in a good and in a polite way. And most of students called the teacher as Mom and as you said thy saw us as the replacement of their mothers sometimes. I am proud of being a teacher because once time you told me that being a teacher cause the people around us to call us with the word "miss".

    lol if u just hear it 200 times in a day that good since i hear more than that number a lot. what bothers me is that some times students tend to tell me "Miss" because they get to use that ward since all of their teachers are females. why females since women are more patient that men so they apply for this job and really i feel that they are loved by their students because of that

    I don't wonder if students get mixed up and call you mom, because i see in you an affectionate person, just like a mom that clouds her children with tender and care. A teacher is person who acts as a candle and lightens up the student's life and brought meaningful to his daily life.

    Teacher what a great word since hundreds of years ago .The teacher where the wisdom , the doctor , the concealer ,the shaykh ,the knowledgeable man , the king , the loyalty , the help and many other adjectives. MMMMMM , today's teachers ,what do you think ?the students have changed ,the teachers have changed ,the new generations have changed , the education itself has changed .
    Teacher is the one who provide education in ways that fill in the gaps of errors and reformation.

    Being a teacher was the most amazing thing I ever did! Yoy are right my friend when your students call you "tacher" they are handling you a great resposibility. A teacher isn't just a random job, a teacher is just like a mothet she is raising generations and generations. All of us have in our memory a tacher that was a real model and another that is a bad memory. So watch out teachers and be effective ones where you will leave foot prints ages and ages..

Authenticity of EDUC 560!!

Educ 560 might seem a simple code that would mean nothing to others but a course. While others are thinking of what they should do to pass this course, my major thoughts revolved around the things I can do to my students and how to benefit myself. Each time that I left the class, I thought about how to use the business cards as ice breaking activity for my little students. I have also found a nicer way to publish students' work through posters or newsletters that can show it all at the first glance. And is there a better place to spread your work worldwide than a blog?  Nothing would last in your memory unless you fetch its use in your real life.

Smart Phones!

I really miss sitting around the table or in a certain place without clicking and pecking in our "SMART" phones. It is impossible to see people gathering without chatting. But what kind of chatting? They keep their heads down and their eyes on a glowing screen for sometimes silly reasons. These advances seem to be so tempting but it doesn't mean that we should give up social life for the sake of social media. I feel sorry sometimes when I see people lacking the social skills to a degree that they can only start a conversation through "Whats-app" or any other social media. When using technology and smart phones for beneficial reasons, no harm can happen. Yet, people of different age levels are using this technological revolution as an escape from real life.
